The AOCMF Asia Pacific Young Surgeon Development Program provides financial support for young surgeons—senior trainees with less than two years of practice experience—in craniomaxillofacial surgery to participate in educational activities such as lectures, workshops, and discussions in any approved AOCMF Fellowship Center in Asia Pacific.
The program covers a maximum two-week fellowship at a recognized AOCMF Fellowship Center in China, India, South Korea, or Thailand as detailed here. The participant is required to attend one AOCMF Management of Facial Trauma course.
AOCMF pays a stipend of CHF 500 Swiss per week to offset the cost of the participant’s course fee, airfare, visa, local accommodations and transportation, and other personal expenses.
The applicant must be an AOCMF Member. Online enrollment is available here. Applicants employed by teaching institutions are preferred; applicants should have less than two years of post-residency practice experience.
