AO CMF R&D Commission members to be elected

Two current AO CMF Research and Development (R&D) Commission members’ terms are drawing to a close and, with this in mind, AO CMF is calling for applications and nominations for candidates to fill two AO CMF R&D Commission member posts for the coming term.
If you are interested and meet the criteria mentioned below, you may apply for these positions. You may also nominate colleagues who meet the selection prerequisites.
Please note: Applications and nominations must be submitted by 5 pm Central European Time (CET), December 2, 2019.
The AO CMF R&D Commission member positions were created for highly motivated individuals of international professional repute and excellent scientific and clinical recognition.
The elected members will be part of the AO CMF R&D Commission, overseeing and managing all AO CMF R&D activities. Applicants and nominees are expected to be experienced clinicians with strong reputations and able to set new standards to position AO CMF as a global leader in craniomaxillofacial surgery research.
The successful candidates will become an AO CMF R&D Commission member for a three-year term: July 2020 to June 2023.
To be considered for these positions, candidates must be AO CMF members who fulfill the requirements provided in the job description. Candidates must be willing to commit the necessary time and able to work in a multicultural environment without any travel restrictions. The AO CMF R&D commission meets twice a year. Candidates cannot hold any other AO commission or board role at the same time.
Applications must be submitted to AO CMF by 5 pm CET, December 2, 2019. Applications will then be handed to the AO CMF Nomination Committee. Applications of candidates who fulfill the prerequisites will be selected.

Eligible to vote in the election are:
- Voting members of the AO CMF R&D Commission
- Members of the immediate past AO CMF R&D Commission
- Voting members of the AO CMF International Board
