AOCMF Course—Orthognathic Surgery and Craniofacial Deformities; Advanced Techniques
Majeed Rana and Gerson Mast

This course is composed of lectures and hands-on exercises with dry bone models. The lectures serve primarily to prepare for the hands-on exercises. Strong emphasis will be placed on workflow optimization for reconstructing complex craniofacial deformities, mainly with orthognathic surgical procedures. A half day of the course will be dedicated to the use of computer-assisted orthognathic surgery. The current workflow from preoperative imaging analysis and virtual modeling to prefabrication of guides and patient-specific implants and technologies will be demonstrated.

AOCMF Seminar— Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery

This course is an intense day focused on pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery. It includes modules on trauma, head and neck tumors and reconstructive surgery. The course is taught by lectures, panels and small group discussion. The expert faculty will analyze, discuss and show the best practices in pediatric treatment for fracture management, tumor evaluation, malformations, surgical management and different reconstructive techniques.
